Two months ago we happily announced our partnership with Deutsche Telekom, Germany’s largest telco. This week we’re thrilled to announce that the network is now being deployed!

From this Tuesday, new routers equipped with Fon technology will be ready for Deutsche Telekom clients to avail. Once installed and activated, subscribers will be able to share the unused capacity of their internet connection with other users in a very secure way. By doing this, they get free access to our 8 million Fon hotspots all around the world, in addition to the seven thousand existing public Telekom hotspots in Germany.

We expect a massive WiFi network of millions of public WiFi hotspots in Germany soon!
