Fierce Wireless chats to Fon about our new WiFi Service Management Solution

During the conversation, Enrique Farfán, Fon’s COO, explained that based on our decade of experience providing carrier WiFi services around the world, we used our expertise and unique technology to help Communication Service Providers (CSPs) deliver WiFi to their subscribers as part of a unified connectivity proposition.

Our WiFi Service Management Platform is Hotspot 2.0 compliant, to make WiFi roaming as smooth as cellular. Although many access points and devices out there are still not compatible, we think it is key to offer a connectivity solution in every scenario.

Enrique highlighted that part of our strength is the fact that our connectivity solution is able to deliver an excellent WiFi user experience even though not the whole the ecosystem has adopted the new standards yet. Our solution enables seamless hand-off traffic without requiring additional user sign on and authentication.
