Fon goes to South Summit!

There are some exciting things happening here in Madrid, home to Fon headquarters, this week! The first thing is that for the next three days, the South Summit event will be taking place right in our own backyard. South Summit is the leading technology startup conference in Europe, bringing together the most promising companies and international investors. The idea is to highlight the greatest innovations and disruptors from Southern Europe and Latin America as a way to empower and inspire the entrepreneur ecosystem. This fits right in with Fon’s mantra – we are all about innovating!

Which brings us to our second exciting point – our CEO, Alex Puregger, will actually be speaking at the event! Alex will be a panelist with four other key players, exploring the move from startup to international. The session, which is titled “Los Conquistadores: Scaling Internationally out of Europe”, will be on Wednesday the 5th at 11:35 in the morning – we hope you can all tune in!

And we are really looking forward to hearing from all of the other great speakers on the program, too, including LinkedIn Co-founder Allen Blue, Skype founder and Atomico CEO Niklas Zennström, the founder of Tuenti Zaryn Dentzel, and Zipcar co-founder Robin Chase.
